Orchard Rd in Nov

Was in Orchard Rd last Sunday with the hubby and couldn't help but feel like an excited kid once again when I saw all the Christmas lights glowing in the night. The street was definitely buzzing with activity with so many buskers, shoppers and (sadly) survey-takers.

Some pix we took:

The three-storey-high Christmas tree at the lobby of Ngee Ann City.

Another one,

Paragon Shopping Centre

Sunday traffic along Orchard Road

Tang's Dept Store

Junction of Orchard Rd and Scotts Rd

It sure is beginning to look a lot like Christmas, duh?!

I LOVE IT!

bigla akong napa buntong hininga kasi na miss ko ang singapore nang makita ko ang orchard road na well lit.

i'll be back there next week and i hope to see the lights once again. it won't be the same though because this time, i'll only be a guest and not a resident anymore.

Ey, the great Batjay in the house! Salamat sa dalaw, sir. (parang preso ako) haha.

I'm sure the PAP will welcome you back anytime, so there's always that option IF you ever need it. ;)

Have a great time in SG. Some new things to see: Vivo City, an upgraded Sentosa, the construction of new malls along Orchard.

Cheers!

Haaay! Mukhang naunahan ang Pilipinas sa pagput-up ng decors. Aba, wala pa nga kaming mga palamuti sa mga kalsada kayo meron na! Ba't kaya nagkaganun. Last week I went to the mall (Powerplant) and I did notice the tree and the decors hanging from the ceiling. Oh, yes, bazaars and tiangges are all over as well. I guess, Christmas is upon us. Hopefully it will be a merry one for all!

Jo! You should come over to Hong Kong and you'll know what "over the top" really means. The mall decors here are so ornate and overdone that it's almost gaudy.

Soooo gaudy, it's actually fun!

Oh well, that's the HK philosophy for you - you can never have too much of a good thing.
